Police: Bullet grazed man’s head during attack
Crime, News

(WMC-TV) – Two men were attacked inside a Frayser convenience store earlier this month and one of them narrowly avoided being shot in the head, according to police.

The victims told officers they were inside the Q-Mart, 2644 Hollywood, around 6:30 a.m. on June 3 when they were attacked from behind by a group of men.

One of the victims, a 21-year-old, managed to escape from the store only to find another attacker waiting for him outside, according to court records.

The man chased the victim through the parking lot and eventually started shooting at him, said police. Investigators say one of the bullets even grazed the victim’s head.

The victim was treated for his injuries and released from the hospital.

However, the attackers are still on the loose.

If you know anything that can help police solve this case, call Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH.
