Man convicted of raping Frayser child | Crime
(WMC-TV) - A Memphis man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for raping and molesting a 9-year-old girl several years ago.
James Clay Chesteen, 49, was convicted by a jury on Friday.
The abuse happened over a months long period of time while Chasteen lived with the child and her mother in Frayser. However, it wasn't revealed until the girl went to live with her stepfather and told him what had happened.
Chasteen will not be eligible for parole and must register as a sex offender when he is released from prison.
