Walgreens donating fans to seniors | Events

(WMC-TV) - Walgreens is making a donation today that will help keep Memphis' senior citizens cool this summer.

The drug store chain will give the Aging Commission of the Mid-South 100 fans at its store at 3360 North Watkins at 4 p.m. today.

“Due to the extreme heat, we wanted to do our part to help seniors throughout Shelby County by donating fans," said Mark Lehner, of Walgreens. "It’s our way of meeting an important need.”
