New trail will connect city parks
(WMC-TV) - The state government has approved more than a half a million dollars to build a trail connecting a pair of city parks.
The project, which will be the fourth phase of the Wolf River Greenway, will build a standalone trail which will eventually connect Rodney Baber Park and Douglass Park.
The construction will add a trail next to McLean Avenue. An entrance will be built at Hollywood Avenue.
The nearly $666,500 grant was awarded by the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
