FRAYSER, TN- (WMC-TV) – Action News 5's Nick Kenney reports that Angela Houston has been found not guilty on all charges.

Houston was on trial, charged with first degree murder, in the death of her husband, Robert.

Prosecutors said she killed her husband in cold blood and tried to cover it up on April 8, 2010.

Today, the jury decided otherwise after Houston's defense painted the picture of domestic violence and years of abuse at the hands of her husband.

Several witnesses, including Houston's 11-year-old son, took the stand to share stories about the abuse.  At least seven police officers also took the stand to discuss Robert Houston's record.

Nick Kenney is working to bring us more details about the jury's decision. Check back with WMCTV.COM for updates.
