Information provided by Mid-South Food Bank
The Chickasaw Council of the Boy Scouts of America has placed Mid-South Food Bank collection bins around the city in support of the 2012 Scouting for Food Campaign, “Feeding A Great Need.” One in five people in the Mid-South is struggling with food insecurity, which means lack of sufficient food to meet basic needs.
Non-perishable food can be place in collection bins at the Kroger stores at 4270 Summer Ave. and 2942 Kirby Whitten Road and at the Chickasaw Council, Boy Scouts of America office, 171 S.
